João Pedro Gouveia was interviewed for the newspaper EXPRESSO regarding the Recovery and Resilience Plan funding schemes.

The measures for energy efficiency are far from the desired results. Only 1% of the funds made available by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) for the Environmental Fund to support the More Sustainable Buildings Program was applied to thermal insulation of houses. And this means that “we are not going to the root causes of the problem”, says João Pedro Gouveia, a researcher at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT Nova).
